Registration Information

The PMI Lakeshore Chapter will be holding a PMP Certification Exam Preparation Course over the course of five Saturdays between October 23 and November 20, 2010. This course is being offered to our members by Bay3000 Corporate Education which is a premier provider of project management services to the Toronto area.

Who will benefit from the course?

The course is based on the 2008 [4th edition] of the PMBOK guide and is presented in a seminar and workshop form including exercises and sample questions. This course is very similar to that offered by most PMI Registered Education Providers in that it will provide an in-depth review of all the PMBOK knowledge areas.
It is essential that you read the PMBOK guide in advance of attending the course.

Does taking this course count towards the project management training hours required for the PMP application?

Based on the duration of the course, you will be receiving all 35 required contact training hours. Students who miss classes will not receive the full 35 contact hours.

Where will the course be held?

The location for the course is the Brampton Golf Club, 7700 Kennedy Road, Brampton, Ontario, L6W 0A1, (905) 890-5700. For a map to the location, click here.

How much will it cost?

The cost of the course is $1017.00 ($900.00 + 13% HST) for PMI Lakeshore Chapter members and $1073.50 ($950.00 + 13% HST) for other PMI members. This course is NOT open to non-PMI members.

Parking is complementary.

Is there a dress code?

Yes. The dress code is business casual (no denim; no jogging pants).

How does this price compare with similar offerings in the Greater Toronto Area?

This price is at least two times cheaper than that offered by the main education providers in the Greater Toronto Area, as well as those that offer courses online (such as Cheetah Learning).

This course uses multiple experienced instructors across the five days, and by providing a larger number of potential students to Bay3000, we have been able to secure a significant volume discount for our membership.

Which Saturdays will the course be held?

The course will be held from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on the following Saturdays:

  • October 23, 2010
  • October 30, 2010
  • November 6, 2010
